Antoin O Ciosain was born in Ireland and spend his childhood on a farm in south Munster where he shared a box camera with six siblings. At the age of nine Antoin and his elder brothers were experimenting in photography with a development and printing set purchased at the Woolworth store in Cork City.

Antoin's love of nature saw him capturing vivid countryside scenes and exhibiting his works at local centres. Today Anton's photos are treasured art momentos giving pleasure to both the presenter and the presented.
